Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour - Fixed Term 1 Year

based at; East Tilbury Primary School & Nursery

Princess Margaret Road, East Tilbury, RM18 8SB

Pay band 3 point 8-16 (Actual Salary Range £11,610-£13,988)

8.30 am-3.20pm Monday-Friday including 50 minute lunch break (Unpaid)

30 hours per week. Term Time only plus INSET days

Due to the expansion of our school we require a Learning Support Assistant with excellent behaviour management to work as part of the Pastoral Team.

The post will require support of children, aged 4-11 years within the school. You will need to be flexible, have enthusiasm, motivation, good communication skills and the ability to work with small groups on specific programmes if required.

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Learning Support Assistant to take on a crucial role within our school.

The successful candidates will enable pupils with additional needs, including behaviour, to access learning through assisting them in understanding and managing their behaviour to enable them to become successful learners.

The role will involve working under the guidance of the Pastoral Lead to support children across the school. You will manage and supervise pupil behaviour, record and report on this to the teachers and the SIMs system.
