A fantastic opportunity has arisen for the post of learning mentor to support activity in the Castledon Sixth form College, which includes delivery of qualifications relating to vocational learning, health and wellbeing, sport in the community, delivering interventions, home school liaison, together with monitoring attendance, organising work placements behaviour and progress.
The successful candidate will also be expected to support student learning, therefore the ability to motivate and encourage learners is essential.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, Health & Safety knowledge, together with a positive attitude and desire to work in education.
You will be pivotal in behaviour management supporting with writing risk management plans where appropriate and will buy into the Essex Steps ethos adopted by Castledon Academy.
You will be an enthusiastic individual who has the ability and drive to motivate students and provide a stimulating, demanding and rewarding learning experience.
Monday - Thursday 8.30 am. - 4.30 pm, Friday 8.00am - 3.30pm

Castledon School is a Special School for pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties and additional complex needs from Year 1 - Year 14.
