Band 2 Point 11 - 16 Actual Salary Range £10,889 - £12,000 p.a
30 hours per week 8:30 - 3:30 Monday - Friday
Mildmay Junior School is looking to appoint a friendly, motivated, self-confident person to join our resource base for hearing impaired pupils as a specialist learning support assistant. The successful candidate should have experience of working within a school and will be a qualified, competent signer and an animated and enthusiastic communicator, whilst experinece of working with challenging behaviours may be an advantage. They will be able to strike the right balance between meeting the communication and learning needs of pupils and facilitating their independence to ensure a fulfilling school experience. They will have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a specialist team within a mainstream school and to liaise with other, external professionals.

Mildmay Primary School is the result of a merger between the two long-standing and successful Mildmay schools that have provided primary education to the community for over 50 years.
