FIRST AID OFFICER
LGS Band 2 + London Fringe Allowance (pro rata)
(30 hours pw) Mon-Fri term-time only
actual starting salary: £10,986
We are seeking a motivated, non-teaching member of staff to provide first aid for all students in this large mixed secondary school, who will be able to:
- Respond calmly and quickly to emergency situations
- Deal with non-emergency medical issues
- Liaise with parents and outside agencies
- Manage the programme of vaccinations for students
Applicants must have grade C or above in English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent, and hold the First Aid at Work qualification (refresher training will be provided as required). Experience of working in a school environment or in a supervisory role with young people will be an advantage. Successful candidates will be subject to DBS clearance.
