Lexden Springs School is looking to recruit a Band 6 Special School Nurse to provide specialist healthcare support for children and young people with medical needs within the school.

NJC Scale 9 pro rata of annual salary £37,336-£41,418

Term time inc non pupil days (39 weeks + 4.9 weeks paid holiday allowance), Monday to Friday (no weekends)

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic registered Nurse who is able to work autonomously who can manage and development two additional medical room assistants.


You will be responsible for providing an excellent, high-quality service to the children at Lexden Springs School who have additional needs. Your work will entail working closely with children, their parents/carers, and key partners to improve health outcomes and support children with special needs to achieve their full potential when at school.

Good communication and working relationships among all professionals who are involved in the child's care are at the core of this role.

We welcome applications from children's or learning disability nurses with experience in working with children with additional needs.
