Wishes to appoint a
Maths Teacher
Key stage Lead
Salary: TMS/UPS + TLR2B
FTE: 100%
Required: April 2024
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an inspirational Key Stage 3 Co-Ordinator to join our successful Maths Department in April 2024, as the Key Stage 3 Curriculum Co-Ordinator for Maths.
Due to increasing student numbers, Brentwood County High School is on a journey of improvement and is seeking to appoint additional staff. Following our "Good" Ofsted rating in June 2022 and several years of excellent student outcomes, demand for places in Year 7 and Year 12 has been rising. In February 2024, we will be excited to open the final stage of our £27 million DFE heritage building project. This will provide new state of the art learning environments - including new science, sporting, technology, and art facilities - whilst also retaining the character of the original school buildings that date back over a century.
The successful candidate will provide effective leadership and subject knowledge in Maths to build an effective department which continually enhances the quality of learning and achievement within Key Stage 3. You will be required to teach Maths to all Key Stages, including A Level, and will be creative, innovative, efficient, and committed to raising standards. The ideal candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and join a highly motivated team of superbly collaborative teachers committed to a creative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning, and to instilling a passion for Maths in our students. The successful candidate will hold QTS.
Applications from teachers with the ambition and experience to become a Key Stage 3 Co-Ordinator in Maths, will also be accepted.
