Hours: 37 hours - working 52.14 weeks per year

Scale: Scale 6 Point 13-17 (Depending on experience)

Salary: £26,873.00 - £28,770.00 (Depending on experience)

Start date: ASAP

Parkwood Academy are looking for a dedicated, hardworking and reliable Site Manager to ensure the safe operation, statutory compliance and general maintenance of the school.

We are looking for a Site Manager who will take pride in the management, maintenance and cleanliness of our school premises. At Parkwood Academy, we work collaboratively as a team and therefore the successful candidate will be approachable, adaptable and have a 'can do' attitude to meet the needs of this fast paced, school working environment.

The working pattern will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The position requires a split shift, which will be Monday & Friday 07:00-10:30 & 13:30-18:00 and Tuesday to Thursday 07:00-10:30 & 14:30-18:00.Dependant on candidate pool, job share would be considered.

  • Able to prioritise, with a commitment to providing a high-quality service.
  • Experienced in building maintenance.
  • Hardworking, punctual, and committed to keeping the school site safe, secure and clean and are willing to work as part of a dedicated team.
  • An excellent timekeeper, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of Safeguarding.
  • A good communicator and have good interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate knowledge and or experience of Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Able to manage site security and be a key holder which requires occasional late evenings and weekend functions and regular lettings.
  • Confident in general maintenance and have a range of practical trade or DIY skills applicable to the role.
  • Able to solicit quotations to achieve best value for site works.
  • A positive role model for both staff and pupils.
  • Prepared to undertake relevant training required for your role.
