Catering Manger
37 hours per week
Scale 6 Point 12-17 (Actual Salary £19,177 - £21,172.91)
Term time and 5 Inset Days
Required 1 September
The Trust would like to recruit a Catering Manager based at Notley High School and Braintree Sixth form
Applicants will need to have a good knowledge of running and managing a kitchen including all aspects of food hygiene and COSHH procedures. Applicants must have excellent cooking skills and the job involves;
· Planning menus
· Ordering supplies
· Hiring, training, supervising and motivating other kitchen staff
· Organising staff rotas
· Ensuring Health & Safety regulations are strictly observed, recorded, and archived
· Monitoring the quality of the product provided
· Managing budgets and maintaining financial & admin records
· Being able to think on your feet within a limited time frame
