Job Description

Maple Grove Primary School have a vacancy for an Apprenticeship for EARLY YEARS PRACTITIONER required for our Early Years classes to start September/Octopber 2022

Salary: £4.81 per hour

30 hours per week on 45.6 week contract (holidays must be taken in school holidays) 8.45am - 3.15pm with 30 minute unpaid lunchbreak Monday to Friday term time.

We are offering the opportunity of an apprenticeship where you will train on the job and study for the Level 3 qualification.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and caring Apprentice EYP to provide service delivery within the requirements of the EYFS Framework, Every Child Matters and Ofsted Care Standards.

The role requirements will include:

· Providing safe, high quality education and care to EYFS children

· Have high expectations of every pupil

· Liaise closely with parents/carers ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met

· Assist with planning of the curriculum, record keeping and data interpretation

· Administer first aid

· Set up play areas daily and help to tidy away at the end of the session
