The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen at The Colne Community School and College for two Lettings Assistants to join our staff to work flexibly over evenings and weekends to support the letting of our sports facilities.

Therefore, we are seeking to recruit proactive and forward thinking members of staff to enrich the skills and experience already present in Site Team. We aim to foster an inclusive culture where everyone is able to learn from each other. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, confident and diligent.

We work closely with other schools within the Trust to improve standards and ensure that we are creating the best environment for our students to learn and our staff to develop.

The Colne Community School and College has extensive sporting facilities including tennis courts, sports hall, gymnasium, squash courts, a dance studio and fields. In addition, a new 3G pitch is being fitted over the 2022 summer break to replace our current pitch. During weekday evenings and weekends, to support our local community, we let out our sporting facilities to local sports clubs. The successful candidates will support the lettings portfolio by providing high level customer service to the sports clubs who have booked our facilities as well as dealing with site management and security responsibilities.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

● Ensure security protocols are followed during all lettings

● Ensuring the requirements of the hirer are met e.g. by setting up sporting equipment

● Carry out tasks as instructed by the Facilities Manager.

● Willingness to gain experience in caretaking and/or building maintenance and security

● Co-operates and works well with others in pursuit of team goals, sharing information and supporting others

● Ensures work is carried out to customer service standards.
