Are you considering a career in teaching? Working as a Cover Supervisor is an ideal way for you to gain classroom experience and develop the skills needed to progress onto a teacher training programme. The FitzWimarc School has an excellent CPD programme and previous record of supporting colleagues become qualified teachers.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team of Cover Staff who supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff. Duties include supervision of classes maintaining an orderly and productive atmosphere, ensuring that cover work set is undertaken by the pupils and providing support in other areas of the school when not required for cover.

We are also looking to add to our casual Cover Supervisor team so will be happy to consider applications from individuals who wish to work on a casual as and when contract.

The successful candidates will have experience of supervising children of a relevant age and must have a good standard of English and Maths and excellent IT skills.
