Pay Range: Grade C Pt 13 to 18 (Thurrock Pay Scales) Actual: £17,859 to £20,460
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our fantastic team of Cover Supervisors.

This position may be of interest to those with experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA looking for a new challenge, those looking to solidify their experience prior to commencing a PGCE in the future, or even overseas trained Teachers looking to gain experience in the UK curriculum before taking on the responsibility of their own class.
The position is to commence in September 2022.
The main purpose of this role is to oversee lessons for teachers who are scheduled for PPA Time, to cover planned absences and also short term cover for unplanned absences. You will be expected to liaise with teachers who will set the cover work for the lessons. The role involves supervising the class through the lesson providing support and encouragement as appropriate.

It is essential that applicants hold a GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C or above in English and Mathematics; current knowledge and understanding of the Primary National Curriculum; and demonstrable Classroom Management Skills.
