Cleaner (early mornings)
We have a vacancy for a reliable and efficient early morning Cleaner to join a team of dedicated and long-serving cleaners and to work between the hours of 3am and 7am Monday to Friday.
Responsible to - Cleaning Supevisor
Job Purpose -To undertake cleaning within the school according to Procedure Codes using a variety of methods including machinery whilst adhering to safety regulations.
Previous experience as a Cleaner would be an advantage, although not essential. Following training, the successful candidate will be working on their own initiative.

Key Information for candidates regarding terms and conditions -
Hours per week: 10 hours worked over five days Monday to Friday (2 hours per day).
Working pattern: Work must be completed between the hours of 3am and 7am.
Working weeks per year: All year round/52.14 weeks
Location: The post is based in the school.
Start date: Required as soon as possible.
Holiday entitlement: Pro-rated holiday entitlement is: 4 weeks/40 hours which can be taken during the school holidays by prior arrangement with management.
Pay: The post is paid on Essex Schools' Local Government Pay Scale 1, point 1. The full time equivalent pay for this Scale is £18,333. The actual salary for this part time post based on the hours outlined above will be £4,954.86 per year which will be paid in 12 equal monthly instalments per year.
Bonus: A non-contractual monthly bonus payment of £17.50 will be payable with full attendance and the completion of all duties.
Probation: All individuals new to employment with the academy will be required to satisfactorily complete a six month probationary period.
