Weeks per year: 39 weeks (term time only) + 1 week to be agreed

This is a really exciting time to join Tendring Technology College as our new Communications and Community Liaison Officer. The successfulcandidate will be involved in developing, implementing and reviewing the school communications and Community Liaison initiatives which will include school newsletters, parent communications, events, website development and digital marketing. You will also be expected toplay a central role in demonstrating real change is under way at Tendring Technology College, with significantly improved communication from the College to parents and the community. Ensuring that communication is timely, accurate and tonally right will be key to the success of this role.

The school is located on two sites, Thorpe-le Soken and Frinton on Sea, and has a thriving sixth form. Tendring Technology College is an integral part of our national network of schools. Tendring Technology College (TTC) serves a wide catchment area in the Tendring District that is a mix of rural and coastal environment with easy access to the vibrant town of Colchester with London Liverpool Street a straightforward train journey. TTC is unique in that it is a split site College with approximately 1900 students. The Thorpe campus is dedicated to our Key Stage 3 students and nearly 5 miles away is the Frinton campus for our Key Stage 4 and 5 students. For staff and students alike the split site at TTC offers the breadth of opportunity and experience of a large school, with the intimacy and care of a small school.
