The post is for 26.25 hours per week, starting on Thursday 1st September 2022
Hours: 8:30am - 12pm & 1:30pm - 3:15pm
Monday - Friday (term time only)
Essex Schools' Pay Scale 3, Points 4-5 (£9.99-£10.19 per hour)
The successful applicant will:
· Promote good behaviour and manage challenging behaviour (strong knowledge of behaviour management will be key and previous experience of working with challenging behaviour would be advantageous)
· Enable bespoke personalised learning opportunities
· Encourage pupils to actively participate in learning and classroom activities
· Provide learning support to individuals and groups
· Support children with additional educational needs
· Create and maintain an orderly and supportive learning environment
· Be reliable, patient, caring and positive
· Demonstrate strong maths, reading and writing skills
· Communicate well to build relationships with children
· Be proactive to ensure the smooth running of the classroom
· Demonstrate a good work ethic and a proven track record of being a hard worker
· Demonstrate a commitment to meeting the needs of all pupils
