We are seeking to appoint a highly effective, caring, enthusiastic and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team.
The right candidate will have a proven track record of working with pupils with Special Educational Needs, including Autism, ADHD and associated difficulties. This will be a rewarding but sometimes challenging role. You will need work closely with the Inclusion Leader but also alongside and under the guidance of outside agencies and professionals. It will be a 1 to 1 contract for as long as the child attends the school and we receive funding for the role.
The post is a fixed term post linked to the pupil's attendance at the school.
. The successful candidate will need:
· Experience in working with SEN children
. The ability to work as part of a team including outside professionals
· The ability to build good relationships
· A supportive, patient and caring nature
· A commitment and determination to help children fulfil their potential
The post is for 30 hours per week and visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
