Position: Assistant Caretaker

Grade: Scale 3

Position Start Date: Immediate (subject to references and DBS check)

Contract Type: Fixed 1 Year (30 Hours Per Week)

The Alderton Infant and Junior Schools share a joint site situated in Loughton, Essex. We are members of the Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust which was formed in 2018 and work collaboratively with the other schools in our academy.

Are you keen to be part of our wonderful team? The headteachers and Governing Bodies of both schools are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Assistant Caretaker.

The successful candidate will work alongside our Site Manager and carry out a range of caretaking duties including security,supervision and maintenance of site.

Both schools are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest.

EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years, and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities. The schools maintain their identities but work in a highly collaborative manner supported by a small but very experienced Central Team.
