Job Advertisement - Caretaker and Cleaner
St Nicholas Church of England Primary School has two exciting opportunities for enthusiastic,caringpeopletojoinourteaminJuly 2022.
Caretaker 15 hours per week pay scale 3
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic, friendly, highly motivated and flexible individual who possesses general building maintenance and caretaking skills.
You should have a good range of DIY skills such as decorating, minor plumbing and carpentry. You will have good communication skills as you will be liaising with contractors and tradesmen as well as students and staff. You should also have had previous experience of basic health & safety. The ability to undertake basic risk assessments would be preferred, although training will be given.
Duties may also include general cleaning, dealing with spillages, blockages, locking and unlocking the sites and any ad-hoc duties as required.
Full driving licence and use of own car is essential as you may be required to attend the School sites outside of normal hours.
Cleaner 10 hours per week pay scale 1
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and reliable cleaner. The role involves undertaking various cleaning tasks around the school, as well as emptying bins, cleaning floors, wiping surfaces etc. Experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be given. Must be flexible.
You will work Monday to Friday term time only plus occasional days for a deep clean in the school holidays.
There is a possibility to combine the roles.
