Business & Administration Apprentice L3 - IT

Starting Salary £17,663.00 per annum

Located in Harlow

Full time (37 hours per week)

Fixed term for 18/21 months

About the team

The IT team provide internal IT support to the students and staff of the college it is a relatively small but supportive team who work very closely with each other.

About the role

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a range of administration and customer service activities related to the IT Helpdesk. You will provide clerical support for staff in the designated area, including working with the Helpdesk system, procurement and schedules. The duties will include the use of IT applications, systems and dealing with enquiries on the telephone, via email and face to face.

What we are looking for

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to engage with people both in person, phone and other channels to deliver the highest standards of customer service to staff, students and other stakeholders. Flexible attitude towards work and with the ability to accept and implement change and positive work ethic are crucial for the role.

This will be a varied role with a focus on IT Systems Management in a small but supportive team, requirements;

  • A good understanding of IT networks and computing technologies
  • Results and customer focussed
  • Quality Minded
  • Any IT training is an advantage

You will need to have a minimum of two D's in GCSE or key/functional skills at level 1(including Maths & English) or have achieved or working towards a related Level 2 qualification.
