Monday - Friday 5pm - 10.30pm

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, pro-active, and hardworking Evening Assistant Caretakers - Lettings to join our school as part of the site team and contribute to the safety, appearance, and upkeep of the school. The successful candidate will be involved in the after-school lettings, be the point of contact for the hirers and resolving any issues that may arise. They will also be responsible for locking the school site at the end of the day, and will also undertake general caretaking duties including cleaning, maintenance and security of the site and will work under the direction of our Site Manager.

The successful candidates will need to have:

  • Enthusiasm for maintaining a school environment to a high standard to support children's learning.
  • The ability to use your own initiative, be able to prioritise your workload and work effectively as part of a team that looks after the safety and welfare of the site.
  • Good DIY skills.
  • A physical fitness to undertake some heavy lifting, moving, and handling.
  • A willingness to participate in training and development.

Our reputation is one of very high academic standards and outstanding pupil conduct. St Clere’s School has gone from strength to strength and the past few years, St. Clere's School pupils have achieved significantly above national results. The Maths department have continued their trend of results, high in the 80s where one third of pupils left with a top grade of 7 to 9. The English department has also mirrored that success with results high in the 80s and significantly above national. Additionally, our progress score continues to be a solid positive and our Ebacc results are above national. Both ICT and separate sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) were 100% A* to C. These results are significantly above national figures and some of the best results in the history of our school, demonstrating: high quality teaching and learning; continuous dedication of staff and the engagement for learning of our pupils. All of this is evident on a daily basis at St Clere’s School.
