Hours: 22.5 hours per week for example 3 days 8.30- 4pm to include 30 minutes lunch break. In addition to the regular hours, attendance at full governing board meetings to report on finance will be required - iro 2 hours per term.
Weekly working pattern and hours to be worked per day is negotiable. We welcome questions and queries relating to this and the role on offer. As this is a brand new role, we may be able to offer additional hours up to 27 hours per week in the future.
The federation is looking to recruit a capable and highly skilled person to the new role of Bursar to work across the schools in the federation. The role includes responsibility for all aspects of the school budget, the safe and efficient running of the school sites and to work in close partnership with the Executive Headteacher.
We are looking for a candidate who will be part of the school community with experience in effective financial management; somebody who is professional, confidential and an effective communicator who makes people feel welcome. Experience of using SIMS FMS is desirable but training will be given. In addition, the successful candidate should have a proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to successfully line manage others.
Start date 1st September 2021, although this is negotiable and could be sooner given individual circumstances.
