The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust is a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary Schools and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), Teaching School and Family and Child Support Services, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. Formed in 2018, we are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities.

The development of our technology infrastructure and staff confidence is central to creating a fully collaborative Trust. We are therefore looking to appoint an innovative and inspiring person to lead and support this growth. Based at one of our schools in Epping Forest, but working across the Trust, the IT Manager will be an important member of the central team. They will share the vision of the Trust which embraces and uses technology to enhance teaching and learning, its administration and opportunities for collaboration. This role will ensure the infrastructure and staff confidence supports this vision.

The successful candidate will have:

· Extensive experience in IT which includes Network Management and IT Infrastructure

· An understanding of developing communication technologies

· An understanding of working in schools

· An ability to identify problems, provide appropriate solutions and work proactively

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Due to funding this post is offered in the first instance as a fixed-term, two-year contract.
