We require an experienced and motivated Construction Teacher with recent teaching and assessment experience to deliver WJEC Level 2 Constructing the Built Environment to years 10 & 11 in our purpose built construction building. Year 9 will study the new GCSE in Built Environment (replacing the obsolete Level 2 qualification).

The purpose of this role is to deliver high quality; learner focused vocational training to meet contractual requirements and awarding body standards. The role will involve developing lesson plans and Schemes of Learning based on curriculum best practise and quality targets, ensuring the safeguarding of learners.

To succeed in this role, candidates must have a pragmatic, none judgemental approach to their work and the flexibility to adapt to meet the learners needs when necessary. Applicants must demonstrate in their application their ability to meet the key responsibilities and the qualifications/skills/experiences detailed within the role profile
