Pupil Support Manager

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Pupil Support Manager based at Newlands Spring Primary School. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individual to join our dynamic and forward thinking team. Working closely under the line management of the Head of School you will ensure that all children receive the appropriate support to achieve maximum attendance; access the learning and fulfil their potential by developing effective home / school partnerships. Pay Range is Scale 4 Point 6-7 depending on experience. 37-hpw term time plus 3 weeks

Are flexible, organised, meticulous and creative in your approach.
Have experience of direct work with children and adults, supporting children who may be vulnerable.
Have an understanding of effective parental engagement strategies within a school setting.
Are seeking a rewarding role.
Have excellent communication skills
Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills with GCSE qualifications grade C or above (or equivalent).
Have demonstrable commitment to continuing professional development.
Have experience of working with children and parents in a school / community setting on either a paid or voluntary basis.
Are enthusiastic, empathic and positive when engaging with parents; flexible and creative in your approach to the varying demands of the role.
