Pastoral Manager

Scale 7 Point 19-24

37 hours per week, term time plus inset days and 3 weeks during the school holidays.

£25,481 to £28,672 pro rata plus £626 Outer London fringe allowance

Actual salary £23,984 to £27,028.

Required for April 2021. We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated pastoral team who play a major part in supporting our students. The successful candidate will be Pastoral manager for Y7 from September 2021 and involved in supporting Y6 to Y7 transition from April. Pastoral Managers follow their year group through the school.

We are seeking a colleague who has:

• Experience in a secondary pastoral role working with a diverse range of young people
• Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to deal with sensitive issues.
• The ability to balance student support with excellent behavioural expectations and management.
• Excellent planning, administrative and organisational skills.
• Ability to work proactively and independently and as part of a team
• High level of initiative
