We are seeking to appoint a conscientious person with a strong background in Finance, who will oversee the financial arrangements and control of our school. The successful candidate will assist the Headteacher in budget reviews, projections, setting and monitoring of financial matters. Moreton C of E Primary School is a good school, outstanding in our last SIAMs inspection, located in the heart of rural Essex. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for that next step in their career within financial management.
Candidates are expected to have the relevant experience and qualifications and should be able to demonstrate outstanding financial, project and administrative management skills. They should also demonstrate an ability to work effectively with all members of the School community, showing initiative and independence when needed. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to respond to and be involved in the daily life of the School are essential.
Our new Finance Manager will have:
· Experience in financial management and budgeting
· Working knowledge of appropriate school's financial policies and procedures
· Someone with a can do and flexible attitude
· Someone who is professional and reliable
· Willingness to work collaboratively with others and work autonomously
· Ability to complete complex returns, write complex letters and reports
· An understanding and compliance of the procedures and legislation relating to confidentiality
