NURSERY NURSE - ROOM LEADER
Required January 2021 start
● Term Time plus 2 weeks (41 working weeks per year)
● 37 hours a week
● Potential for role to be extended to a full time 52 week contract, when the nursery expands from term-time to an all year wrap around provision
Salary Scale 5 (£20,493 to £21,748 - pro rata £18,354 to £19,478) Application Closing Date Friday 11th December 2020

Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery is delighted to invite you to apply for our new and exciting role of Nursery Nurse - Room Leader. A brand new £800,000 building is being built and we are looking for an enthusiastic, driven and dynamic person to support our transition from a term-time nursery to a wrap around provision for 2-4 year olds.
As a room leader, you will have an opportunity to create and share your vision of what a successful nursery looks like and develop a strategic business plan to ensure its success and sustainability. The role is one that would suit both an experienced leader, or an upcoming progressive leader. Experience of working within a nursery setting is essential.
You will be supported by an excellent group of nursery practitioners and senior leaders from the school and will have opportunities to establish positive relationships with school leaders to ensure that the vision and ethos of Prince Avenue is shared across this wonderful new setting. You will work closely with the Inclusion and Pastoral Manager and our local Children's Centre to support families within our community.

Information about the School
Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery is a two form entry primary school with a 52 place nursery. Occupying a large site close to the A127 with extensive grounds and facilities, we are part of the South East Essex Academy Trust (SEEAT).
