Are you interested in joining our dedicated team to assist in serving food and clearing away at lunchtime?
St Lawrence C of E Primary School needs a new Midday Assistant
Two days per week, 11.45 a.m. - 1.40 p.m. plus relief cover when required
LGS Scale 2 Point 2 - 3 (Hourly Rate £9.43 - £9.62)
Term Times Only - To cover two days per week and other staff absences as required
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- The ability to support our Catering Team to serve school meals (currently in-line with Covid-19 Secure Guidance)
- Speed and efficiency to meet the demanding tasks within the kitchen and hall over the lunchtime period and around the school during Covid-19
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to build superb relationships with young people and to maintain excellent discipline
- The ability to clear away, wash-up to a quick and efficient standard including additional cleaning of classrooms and toilets at lunchtime as a result of Covid-19
- Initiative, decisiveness, and acute observation skills
- Flexibility and a good sense of humour

Previous experience in this area of work is desirable but not essential.
