St John's Green Primary School is a large Town Centre school, operating over two sites. We are a good school and put the children at the heart of Teaching & Learning with a curriculum that seeks to inspire and support children to achieve.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and caring member of staff to join our Family Support Team. The post is for 25 hours a week and you would work under the direction of our Family Support Worker, to utilise our sport and outside areas to provide the opportunity to give psychological, social and emotional wellbeing support to individual and groups of children through the medium of sport and outside activities. Applicants must have an interest in all types of sport and being outside in all weathers. You will be working with children who would benefit from interacting and participating in sport and being able to talk and share their concerns and anxieties whilst involved in outside activities. There would also be a need to support children within the classroom

The vacancy will be based on a Fixed Term contract, starting ASAP and will be contracted to work until 31 August 2021.The successful applicant will be paid at Scale 3 Point 4 which equates to £18,933.00 per annum (pro rata £10,918.09 per annum).
