Cover Co-ordinator - Required: October 2020

LG Scale 6 points 12 - 17 £15,350 - £16,947 (FTE £22,183 - £24,491)

30 hours per week / 39 weeks per year

Working Hours - 7.00am - 1.00pm

We are looking to appoint a highly organised and efficient individual to be responsible for the administration and co-ordination of school cover arrangements and leave of absence. In addition, you will be required to undertake cover and supervision of whole classes during the short term absence of teaching staff. Duties include organising daily cover, using current staff and engaging supply teachers where necessary; updating SIMS with staffing availability; ensuring accurate records are maintained of all staff absences.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly across all levels; excellent administration, ICT and data handling skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
