South Essex Alliance Multi-Academy Chief Personnel Officer
Scale 11 or 12 depending on experience.
Part Time Contract 18.5hrs - Term Time. (Potential to include other vacancy for Chief Finance Officer also 18.5hours, please see separate job advertisement)
Working Days: Negotiable
Reporting to: CEO/Executive Headteacher and Board of Directors
The South Essex Alliance Multi-Academy Trust is undergoing a period of restructure in order to meet the government directive to expand. It is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Chief Personnel Officer to begin the work of creating a central administration team. In the first instance the role will be to provide personnel functions for the Trustees and Chief Executive Officer. In undertaking the role the post holder has the potential to shape the future of the trust in partnership with the CEO and trustees.
The successful applicant will:
· Have appropriate personnel qualifications and experience
· Have School Business Manager Qualification (preferable but not essential).
· Have a comprehensive understanding of Human Resources practices.
· Be computer literate with an excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
· Understand the confidential nature of this role.
· Be flexible, proactive and organised, capable of working at home and across sites.
· Have a patient, caring and committed attitude towards the role.
