Job Description

Due to the exciting expansion and development at Brentwood Prep School, we are seeking to appoint a technician to work across the Science, DT and Art Departments, supporting these departments with the preparation of resources, completion of practical tasks, the operation and maintenance of workshop machinery and tools and supoprt during lessons.

The appointed person should be flexible, willing to learn new skills and excited to be part of a team of staff who are dedicated and child-centred in their approach. A good knowledge and interest in STEAM subjects, in addition to a genuine interest in the use and maintenance of equipment is desirable. Good ICT skills are a must, including a willingness to gain a knowledge of CAD/CAM systems.

This is a part time role working 20 hours per week (exact days/hours to be confirmed).
