St Mary's Prittlewell Church of England Primary School
Required: Inclusion Team Admin Support
30 hours per week (over 4 days)
Salary: Admin pay scale points 4-9 (between £9.55 - £ 10.54 per hour)
40 weeks over the year to include INSET days and occasional meetings in school holidays
We are looking to appoint an able individual to act as admin support for the Inclusion team. The post holder will provide efficient and professional secretarial and administrative support to both the Safeguarding and Special Needs department at St Mary's.
The role requires someone who pays meticulous attention to detail, has energy, enthusiasm, a calm manner, the ability to prioritise, a flexible working approach and being able to cope with conflicting demands and interruptions in order to meet internally and externally imposed deadlines.
S/he will be approachable, have sound people skills, strong written and verbal communication together with a 'can do' attitude. Experience of using Microsoft Office programmes and SIMS is essential.
Experience of working in the school environment would be an advantage.
Main duties will include:
· Providing overall administration support to the Special Needs and Safeguarding team
· Preparation of Annual Review/ EHCP/ ISP etc documentation ensuring deadlines are met
· Support the coordination of DBS appointments and paperwork
· Preparing safeguarding files for other professionals and meetings
· Taking and typing up minutes from meetings
· Typing correspondence to parents, agencies, professionals, staff and any internal correspondence under the direction of the Deputy Head, SENCo and Family Liaison lead.
· Liaising with teachers and LSAs to collate information for referrals or requests for support.

The appointment will be subject to a successful enhanced DBS check, medical check, two references in addition to relevant background checks and certificated evidence of the required qualifications.
