Our vibrant, successful, happy school at the heart of the village is seeking to recruit an assistant cook to help the catering manager prepare home cooked food for our pupils. We pride ourselves on the excellent quality of our meals which is echoed by the enthusiasm of the children and the number of meals we produce.
Previous experience of assisting with food preparation, cooking and service of food would be beneficial but not essentialbecausepart of our commitment to staff development will include training. Foodisan integral part of our whole school ethos and the post holder can expect to work as part of a committed school team.
We are seeking someone who enjoys working as part of our busy catering team but able to use their own initiative to be able to cover for the Catering Manager if necessary, once adequate training has been completed.
It is expected that the position will be for up to 28 hours per week.
