Cressing Primary School has a vacancy for a part-time SENCo to work 3 days per week from January 2020 or as soon as possible after this date.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on developing exemplary provision for SEND children and interventions across our school.

You will need to be :

* highly professional;

* a good team player;

* an effective communicator with all stakeholders and multi-agencies;

* responsive and adaptable and able to follow through all tasks:

* proactive;

* emotionally intelligent;

The successful candidate would be employed as a teacher under the STPCD and will hold specific duties in the role of SENCo. You would need to hold the National Award for SEN Co-ordination, be working towards it or willing to undertake the training.

You will need to line manage LSA teams and lead interventions across the schools, working closely with the Deputy Headteacher. You will be the lead role on the teaching of interventions and will need to be prepared to teach our most vunerable children if the SEND and intervention needs of the schools require this.
