Are you an outstanding classroom practitioner with a passion for developing the practice of others? Then we have an opportunity for you to join the senior leadership team of our popular and heavily oversubscribed school.
At Shoeburyness High School, we have the most fabulous students who are supported in their aspirations by our 140 teaching staff; they have high expectations of the students and themselves and we are seeking an Assistant Headteacher with the energy, skills and charisma to lead on this most vital aspect of a school's work.
The cornerstone of our success as a school is the strength of the relationships between all stakeholders and the ideal candidate will be a natural leader of people and will fully subscribe to our inclusive ethos. Shoeburyness High School is proud to be a member of the Southend East Community Academy Trust (SECAT). Within the Trust, we work very closely with our primary colleagues in developing a linear 3-18 learning experience for the young people within the area and so the Assistant Headteacher for Teaching and Learning would be expected to work with colleagues from the Trust in furthering these aims.
