Learning Support Assistant

(Fixed Term - 4th November 2019 to 31st August 2020)

4.5hrs per day - 22.5 hrs per week - spent in class andlunchtime supervision

Salary: Band 2 Point 3 moving to Scale 2 Point 3 from April 2020 - £18,035 FTE

The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to join our school.

The successful candidates will:
Be able to model excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Have a good understanding of how children learn
Be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the children.
Lead interventions for small groups of children in Maths and English
Support children with SEND
Be committed to raising standards
Be able to liaise closely with teachers, support staff, parents and the wider community
Have a good pedagogical understanding and practice of phonics and early reading strategies

Situated in the beautiful village of Coopersale, near the Essex town of Epping, we overlook the picturesque Epping Forest. We are currently a one-form entry school ranging from Reception to Year 6. Currently we have 190 pupils on roll, including an additional Year 2 class (bulge year).
