This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SENDCo to join our school at the beginning of its journey with Essex Steps.

Walton on the Naze Primary School is a relatively small school in the Essex coastal town of Walton on the Naze.

Do you have SENDCO experience?

Are you passionate about supporting staff to meet the needs of children with additional needs?

Can you demonstrate impact of your role on pupil outcomes with SEND?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed SEND Practitioner to join our delightful team.

This is a key role, strategically leading and further developing the direction and development of inclusion and SEND provision, whilst raising standards of pupil attainment and achievement across the school.

This post is full time.

We can offer:

· Additional PPA time

· A supportive SLT

· A weekly catch up meeting

· Well set up and attended SEND parent meetings

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic person who:

· has a friendly manner and can communicate effectively with wider agencies, staff, pupils and parents.

· can work effectively as part of a team but can also work independently using their own initiative.

· has experience of working in a SENDCo role.

· has already been awarded the SENDCo qualification or is willing to complete the qualification within the next three years.
