CARETAKER/ CLEANING SUPERVISOR

Salary: Band 3 Pt6 £19,171 - Pt11 £21,166 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.

Hours: 37 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year (Shift pattern is in operation, hours will vary 7am to 3pm and 11am to 7pm).

The Caretaker/Cleaning Supervisor will carry out a variety of caretaking duties including security and supervision of the site. The post holder will also be responsible for the management and oversight of cleaning staff/work.

King Edward VI Grammar School is a selective boys' state school with a mixed Sixth Form and an exceptional academic and extra-curricular reputation based in Chelmsford. As a school specifically providing specialist education to very able young people, there is a strong focus on academic achievement, with the vast majority of students (both those boys who join in Year 7, and students, including girls, who join for the sixth form) going on to top universities. There is a serious work ethic at KEGS which derives from highly motivated students and dedicated staff.
