Due to the promotion of the current postholder, we are looking to appoint a Catering Manager with successful experience of working in a busy school kitchen to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about providing a fantastic lunch time experience for our children and our Catering Manager will be responsible for promoting healthy eating and leading a team of committed colleagues.

Catering for 200+ meals a day, the successful candidate will be an experienced cook, adaptable, able to work in a time pressured environment and will also be able to lead and manage a team of three other catering staff. Equally important, however, will be your flexible and positive attitude to work, passion for food and ability to form good relationships with children and other staff members.

Experience of catering is essential and experience of budgeting would be an advantage, although training and on-going support will be available as part of our friendly, successful school. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Catering Manager to join our school. Assistant Cooks ready to take a step into leadership are welcome to apply.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed - please call the school office to make an appointment. All applications to be made online via the standard application form - please note that we do not accept CVs.
