Administrative Assistant
Required: As Soon As Possible
Monday to Friday - 25hrs per week - 8.30am to 1.30pm
39 Working weeks per year
Band 2, Scale Point 3 - 6, (19/20 Rates) FTE Salary Range = £18065 - £19171
· Do you have excellent administrative skills and computer literacy?
· Are you highly efficient and organised?
· Are you are able to communicate clearly and assertively whilst remaining calm, and tactful?
· Do you have a flexible and cheerful outlook plus a willingness to support other members of the administrative team as required?
If so, we'd like to hear from you. You will be expected to provide a high-quality administrative service within a busy school office.
Applicants should possess excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to use their own initiative and manage their own workload, and be able to prioritise high volumes of work. You should also have strong IT and problem-solving skills and an understanding of an educational environment. Knowledge of SIMs (the school's database) and experience of reviewing/proof reading documents is desirable.
Admin Assistants perform a wide range of office support duties including first day contact, data entry, photocopying, first aid, filing and answering the telephone.
