The Gateway Learning Community [GLC] is a partnership between one secondary and four primary schools located within Tilbury and Chadwell in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London. We are looking to recruit an outstanding, determined and creative Assistant Head of School (SENCo and Phase Leader) for TilburyPioneerAcademy.
This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to lead teaching and learning across years 1 - 6 and drive a whole school improvement strand. This role will also focus on the progress of our SEND students, supporting teachers to ensure they make or exceed expected progress.
The successful candidate will continue to align teaching pedagogy and assessment to achieve outstanding progress and attainment for all pupils through the seamless continuity of practice. Candidates must be able to demonstrate significant evidence in whole-school transformation leading directly to outstanding outcomes for pupils. They must be able to evidence exceptional leadership as well as exemplary practice as a classroom practitioner.
The successful candidate will be thoroughly committed to community regeneration through education; be professionally generous and be prepared to focus relentlessly on teaching, learning, the curriculum and ethos.
