We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly village school. The role involves providing one to one support for a pupil with Type 1 Diabetes.

The successful applicant will:

· Hold GCSE in English and Maths Grade A-C (or equivalent).

· Have experience supporting children in a school or Early Years setting.

· Be resilient and have a positive "can do" attitude (initiative, flexibility, proactive approach) and can encourage children to achieve to the best of their ability.

· Have a calm and caring manner along with a good sense of humour.

· Be able to work as part of a team under the direction of the Class Teacher/SENCo/Specialist Nurse

The post is for 30 hours per week (8:45am - 15:15pm) up until the end of July 2019 in the first instance. Job Share considered.

Salary Range: £11,398 - £12,278
