Making the transition from industry to education is something that many of our Construction teaching staff have successfully achieved and it's their experience and skill that continues to challenge and inspire students. Why not join them?
The programs the Construction team delivers are designed to engage and motivate full time students and apprentices to develop the knowledge and skills required for the Construction & Built Environment. We have also recently secured a £250,000 investment to purchase 40 high spec double screen CAD machines and industry quality surveying equipment.
The successful candidate, along with the team will support the students in their progression to universities, apprenticeships and the various roles that are available in the Construction industry such as surveying, architecture, civil engineering, site management and structural engineering.
We are looking for an individual who will be able to deliver qualifications up to Level 5 in Future Home Design & Construction as well as Maths & English. Have a degree (BEng Civil Engineering) or equivalent plus Level 5 in Maths and Level 3 in English. We will support staff to undertake a teaching or assessing qualification if not already held.
The successful candidate can expect the College to fund any training required for the role, expect investment in their professional development, opportunities to further their career as well as an excellent benefits package including 42 days annual leave plus bank holidays and an excellent Pension Scheme (Teachers Pension Scheme)
