CATERING ASSISTANT
(fixed term until November 2019)
Start Date - ASAP
Part Time: 10 hours per week (2 hrs per day), term time only (38 weeks)
Core Hours: 11.45 am until 1.45 pm, Monday to Friday
Band 1 SCP 6 - 10 (Actual pay £3,229 - £3,321 per annum)
We are a large, thriving junior academy looking to recruit an energetic and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to work in our kitchen as part of our catering team.
Previous experience of catering is desirable, although training will be available for the right candidate. If successful you will be required to assist in all aspects of general kitchen duties however, serving the children will be a key part of the role. You should be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team and to enthuse our children to enjoy healthy, home cooked food.
Applicants will also be required to complete a Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering.
(This role is initially for a fixed term however, due to the continued growth of the school it is possible that this role may grow and the number of hours per week increases.)
