Midday Assistantrequired

We are looking for a Midday Assistant toworkfor five days a week from 11:55 to 1:10 p.m., during the term time only. Band 1 Local Government Conditions.

Can you offer?

• Flexibility-a 'can do' approach with an ability to communicate with children in a firm but fair manner

• An ability to respond to all pupils and staff

• A willingness to involve yourself with the children, and instigate group games

• First Aid-not essential as we can arrange this

The role of the Midday Assistant is to promote a good standard of behaviour, supervise the children when playing outside, or in classrooms on wet days. The Midday Assistant should act as a responsible caring adult with the health, safety, and welfare of the children always in mind; show conduct which commands respect; and see that the children behave at all times sensibly and quietly.
