Pay: Band 2 pt 11-14 (£15, 807 - £16, 781 pro rata)

Contract type: Part-time permanent (19 hours, 5 mornings and 2 afternoons)

Start date: 29th October 2018 (or sooner if possible)

We are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant for 19 hrs per week. The role will involve supporting a child with specific attention, language and learning needs, individually as part of a personalised curriculum and sometimes as part of the general class. Previous experience is desirable but not essential for the right person.

Due to the needs of the specific child the successful applicant will be adaptable and have good communication skills. The applicant will show initiative and flexibility under the guidance of the class teachers and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) and be able to maintain a positive attitude. Applicants will be patient and understand the professional nature of the role. The successful candidate should have GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
