Band 3, Point 17-21 (£18,672.00 - £20,541.00)

Full or part-time, flexible hours available, 38 weeks per year

Full-time actual salary: £12,931.74

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and resourceful Cover Supervisor, responsible for delivering set lessons in the absence of the class teacher and maintaining a positive learning environment. A confident presence in the classroom and strong communication/interpersonal skills are essential. Applicants must have a passion for working with young people and the ability to develop positive and respectful relationships with them, as evidenced through prior experiences.

Duties will include taking the class register, issuing pre-planned work, ensuring the students adhere to the Behaviour for Learning Policy and assisting with tasks wherever possible. The successful applicant could be allocated to work in a range of departments, and support will be provided by Subject Leaders and Student Development Assistants. Candidates are required to have Maths and English GCSE at Grade C minimum.
