About the team
The English Team here at Harlow College sit within the English and maths academy. The team is responsible for the delivery of GCSE English to young people and adults as well as A-Level English Language and Literature. The team also supports vocational staff who deliver functional skills English across the college.
About the role
We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and experienced teacher to deliver GCSE English to students across the college. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to the teams planning of a strong and vibrant curriculum which enable students to improve on their GCSE results from school. This is a fantastic opportunity to pass on your skills and inspire the next generation by working in Further Education.
Ideally qualified to degree level; you will have the skills and experience to teach GCSE English. A teaching qualification is not essential as the College will support you in obtaining a teaching or assessing qualification where appropriate.
