Finance Officer

Part-time (25 hours per week)

Salary Band 4 (Whole Band - according to experience)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and positive person to join our busy school office. Experience of working in a school and knowledge of SIMS and FMS is essential.

The successful candidate will:

· Have an understanding of financial procedures, budget management, procurement and health & safety.

· Have effective management, reporting and recording skills.

· Be competent in IT.

· Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.

· Have strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines.

· Have the ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.

· Have good communication skills, written and oral.

· Have the ability to relate to people, in a calm and professional manner.

· Have a sense of humour and flexibility.

Information about the School

Nazeing Primary School is a community school for children aged four to eleven years. The school is situated in Essex near the border with Hertfordshire. Most of our pupils come from the village of Nazeing and a small, but increasing number come from the nearby towns of Harlow and Waltham Abbey.
